Tropical Laminates

We offer a range of laminates designed to provide protection to products being packed in wet and humid climates. Packaging films and foils are used to safeguard pharmaceutical products from physical factors such as dust, shocks, and environmental factors such as moisture, gases, and light. For products that require a higher degree of moisture and oxygen barrier, many pharmaceutical manufacturers adopt different packaging systems. In cases where the use of cold form foil may not be convenient or feasible, additional aluminum foil packaging may be opted for. Tropical foil is one such secondary packaging option. It is composed of soft aluminum foil laminated with OPA on the dull side and coated with heat seal lacquer on the bright side. Tropical foils are designed to provide protection to pharmaceutical products in tropical conditions, where high moisture or humidity is observed. This packaging option can be used in conjunction with PVC or PVdC polymer layers in blister packaging systems to provide additional protection.
